Hi, I'd like to provide a new package python-sphinxygen into Factory. This is documentation generator needed by LV2 stack https://gitlab.com/drobilla/sphinxygen It's already in the multimedia:libs https://build.opensuse.org/package/show/multimedia%3Alibs/python-sphinxygen and I'm not sure where I should submit it to - directly to the Factory or to the devel:languages:python then to the Factory? TIA.

I think if it's now part of multimedia:libs project, just send directly to openSUSE:Factory. The multimedia:libs/python-sphinxygen will be the devel package. To move to devel:languages:python is a different discussion. Just if the package is generic enough and it's (or will be) needed by other packages, it could be a good idea to move there. But if right now it's added because it's needed by LV2, it's okay to be at multimedia:libs. Regards

Thanks! It's accepted in Factory. On 2025-01-20 00:14, daniel.garcia@suse.com wrote:

I wonder whether it is not the time to introduce devel:langauge:python:sphinx, it is becoming to be rather unveidly.
