That does not mean that you should break the things for the minority.
atd should work according to it's documentation. Actually your patch
not only introduced config file parsing but practically also disabled
command line parsing.

be to just revert your patch.
I get it now, the idea is to complain and sabotage changes and not
actually do anything constructive yourself.
The idea is to only accept patches which does not break documented and
well known behaviour ...
