Help me get the terminology right here; in the above, what is:
lilo openSUSE_11.3 x86_64 Base:System (where lilo belongs/resides).
What project you are having the problem with.
It's surely not Base:System:
seife@susi:~> osc r Base:System lilo openSUSE_11.3 x86_64 disabled openSUSE_11.3 i586 disabled openSUSE_11.4 i586 disabled openSUSE_11.4 x86_64 disabled openSUSE_Factory x86_64 blocked* openSUSE_Factory i586 blocked* SLE_11_SP1 i586 disabled SLE_11_SP1 x86_64 disabled
Yes, it is Base:System - that's where lilo belongs.
per@obelix:~/workspace/home:pjessen:branches:Base:System/lilo> osc results openSUSE_11.3 x86_64 unresolvable openSUSE_11.3 i586 succeeded openSUSE_11.4 i586 succeeded openSUSE_11.4 x86_64 succeeded openSUSE_Factory x86_64 succeeded openSUSE_Factory i586 succeeded SLE_11_SP1 i586 succeeded SLE_11_SP1 x86_64 unresolvable
It is a branch...
$ osc buildinfo openSUSE_11.3 x86_64 lilo.spec <buildinfo project="home:pjessen:branches:Base:System" repository="openSUSE_11.3" package="lilo" downloadurl="http://download.opensuse.org/repositories"> <arch>x86_64</arch> <error>unresolvable: nothing provides device-mapper-devel-32bit</error> <debuginfo>1</debuginfo> <subpack>lilo</subpack> <path project="home:pjessen:branches:Base:System" repository="openSUSE_11.3" /> <path project="Base:System" repository="openSUSE_11.3" /> <path project="openSUSE:11.3" repository="standard" /> </buildinfo>
So there is no device-mapper-devel-32bit package on 11.3.
Thanks Marcus - AFAICT, this is only on 11.3 - 11.2 and 11.4 both have device-mapper-devel-32bit packages. What is the correct course of action for me, i.e. what should I do to resolve this? It seems logical to create a device-mapper-devel-32bit package for 11.3, but I'd like to understand what's happened here first. -- Per Jessen, Zürich (22.7°C) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
