I do not think we should carry anachronic and confusing RC scripts. Those should be updated and cleaned up first.
Updating or cleaning them will not make them suddendly less confusing.
Don't bee to much off-topic. Frederic and mine are tallking about rcXXX **symlinks**. Those hides the details about how service is spawned in sysvinit/systemd and don't need anything in /etc/init.d/ installed, having /usr/sbin/rcvsftpd -> /sbin/service will simply call systemctl. I'm pretty sure this is tiny and nice advantage for SUSE users and shall not be removed. Regards Michal Vyskocil
