sounds complicated TBH. I'm wondering how newer versions made it into SLE in former times. Actually I would expect the SuSE peer maintainer of a Base:System package (or whatever they are called) to initiate an SR on SuSE side: they know that "their" packages are working in oS:F - sometimes for quite a while.
