Since we moved to systemd completely, I suggest that newly added files will contain service files - and not init scripts anymore.
So, please only add service files to new packages and if you change your init file, consider using a service file and dropping the init file,

So we now have several people creating/copying service files for various packages with varying mileage. For instance, rabbitmq-server got one which forget some stuff present in the init script. While that is all fixable, I urge everyone to actually test those *.service files since they take precedence over init scripts. -- With kind regards, Sascha Peilicke SUSE Linux GmbH, Maxfeldstr. 5, D-90409 Nuernberg, Germany GF: Jeff Hawn, Jennifer Guild, Felix Imendörffer HRB 16746 (AG Nürnberg) -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+owner@opensuse.org
