Exactly. I was surprised by evince being unable to display *anything* after updating from Leap 42.3 to 15.0 (not sure about the exact numbers), but after I found out what caused the "problem", I actually was delighted that it did not require everything-and-the-kitchen-sink but let me choose the plugins I needed.
