Hi, I've spent about 4 days trying to get python3 to complete building in home:plater:blender for 11.0 and 11.1, it just hangs on testing multiprocessing :-|

Job seems to be stuck here, killed. argh, no buildstatus set, assuming bad build host...
I trigger a rebuild on failed packages and if I'm lucky the build eventually completes after a couple of hours. When I created the package link I didn't disable the 11.2 build quickly enough and although the package showed disabled for 11.2 x86_64 and i586 server status showed building and the build logs showed the above message until I "osc abortbuild" for 11.2 something that could seriously tie up the build service if there were a few more packages like python3 about. I've finally managed to get a full compliment of python3 binaries in the project so I'm happy but the 11.2 lockup is a potential problem.
Without looking at the package, it sounds like a problem in the sources. A package which takes that long may wait in some timeouts. Maybe because it has no network on the build host (by intention). You may debug it with "osc build", if it works in standard chroot (where it has netowkr), you may configure osc to use xen or kvm to test what is happening without network. bye adrian -- Adrian Schroeter SUSE Linux Products GmbH email: adrian@suse.de -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-packaging+help@opensuse.org
