Have you tried burning at a slower rate of speed?

I have been trying to make a copy of an audio CD with no success. The burner
is a HP dvd639e external CD/DVD player burner connected via USB. In doing the
burn, it always fails during processing the 16th track with write errors.
This is using the default parameters.

I moved the burner to my other machine which is running Win 2000. It detected
the drive, and NERO was able to successfully do the burn. It wrote to the
same CDRW disk that fails under K3B so it shouldn't be the hardware.

I have attached a shortened log of the run.

Any thoughts or suggestions would be most appreciated... Tom.
