Can somebody help me with to fix this problem? I'm sure at it must be a possibility to have the seuquencer working. I have proved with timidity as server, but i don't now how i must configure the MIDI ports to have them to work, all i get is a message like what timidity was working and att it was 2 Midi ports, but back in configuration, sound, midi, nothing is here..

Well, i have done some experiment. If i try to run kmid as root from a terminal, i get the interface but nothing else. just a few messages as follow: DCOPServer up and running. Each time i click to play come: Player :: There are no midi ports ! And when i quit the program: FOO:/home/dom/Desktop # kdeinit: Fatal IO error: client killed kdeinit: sending SIGHUP to children. kdeinit: sending SIGTERM to children. kdeinit: Exit.
