I seem to recall there being a beta Real One player in 8.1. I cannot find a Real One player for Linux at www.real.com or anywhere else for that matter. Does any one know if it is available and if so where? Does anyone know if Mozilla (1.4 and later) are going to support the rtsp protocol? TIA. It's at http://forms.real.com/real/player/unix/unix.html

There is a mplayer plugin for mozilla (of course you need mplayer installed for it).Had various degrees of success and crashes with it. Klaus
There's a version of real, but I think is not anymore real ONE, and despite it has support for rtsp I haven't find the way of linking the player with the browser. Anyway, personally I rather use mplayer for all my video/audio files, and there's a good pluging for mozilla, and any other web browser. GIve it a try, if you need any help you can contact me. I seem to recall that the development of linux players has moved over to the helix community, open source effort at www.helixcommunity.org

If you are asking whether Mozilla will launch Real Player when you click a link to a ram file -- I just tested my Mozilla and it launched RealPlayer 8 okay. If you are asking whether Mozilla are going to write a client that plays the rtsp binary stream, then I've no idea :-) Gavin
