Hello, I hope that there is someone out here that can help me out with this situation. I will try to be as brief as possible and still give the details. I have a bttv card that works fine and is using /dev/video0. So I have a QuickCam Express USB and I want to set it up on /dev/video1. I load the module mod_quickcam that came with SuSE and I see in USBView that its installed and working fine. Then I use xawtv -c /dev/video1 and the screen opens I get this error in Term: This is xawtv-3.72, running on Linux/i686 (2.4.10-4GB) /dev/video1 [v4l]: no overlay support v4l-conf had some trouble, trying to continue anyway config: invalid value for input: Television valid choices for "input": "Camera" ioctl: VIDIOCMCAPTURE(0,fmt=3,size=176x144): Invalid argument Now I have been told that is normal. but when xawtv starts I get a green window with a small line at the top that is video. I can run my hand over the cam and see it in this small line in xawtv. I look in xconsole and it tells me, repeated several times: error: quickcam: frame size is incorrect! This will repeat until I turn xawtv off. I have been everywhere looking for a answer for this and how to adjust the frame size to make this work but nothing. I have been in chat's and all over the web. I even emailed SuSE about it and no help. Does anybody have any idea on how to get the problem fixed? Thanks for your time, Scott
