Do you choose a country specific channel set or you do a full frequency scan? kwintv has such an option, check it out...
I scanned the whole frequency with scantv -a command.
The 878 should be supported and working, otherwize you wouldn't get ANY channels!
It seems that I've the new Chip "Connexant Fusion 878A" on the card.
