as I’m trying to move a bigger installation from CoreOS to MicroOS and there is the following question.

is support for ignition files with version 3.4.0 (https://coreos.github.io/ignition/migrating-configs/#from-version-330-to-340) created for example with butane 1.5.0 (https://coreos.github.io/butane/upgrading-fcos/#from-version-140-to-version-150) planned, especially the luks discard and open options are essential for our use case.
