since this issue of openSUSE Weekly News we're planning to make the profreading session more open. So everyone can read it and share his thoughts, So the Newsteam and the Marketingteam is specially invited.
Draft can found at: http://saigkill.homelinux.net/pub/OWN/HTML/OWN-203.html
This week, what concerns me are followings:
=openSUSE 12.1: All Green!= ==In the Press==
* Computerworld/Katherine Noyes: For stability and flexibility, try OpenSUSE Linux 12.1
As written in the article, this article is 'Originally published on www.pcworld.com.'
So, we should introduce http://www.pcworld.com/businesscenter/article/244005/try_opensuse_linux_121_... instead and the title should be:
PCWorld/Katherine Noyes: Try OpenSUSE Linux 12.1 for Stability and Flexibility
And then, remove 'PC World - ' on the top of the current body.
=Board Election 2011=
Is this article written by you? Another option which I want to propose is:
- Add an ulink http://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Board_election to the corner title
- Introduce the post by Izabel instead of the current article. http://lists.opensuse.org/archive/opensuse-project/2011-11/msg00179.html
=In the Community= ==Events & Meetings==
* November 30, 2011 : Project Meetings * Launch Parties: Check out yours
These 2 entries are categorized as 'Past', but it's still Nov. 26 today... ;-)
=Security Updates=
* openSUSE-SU-2011:1272-1: important: bind
It is now linked the older post, should be linked to http://lists.opensuse.org/opensuse-security-announce/2011-11/msg00029.html
=Tips and Tricks= ==For System Administrators==
* Jörg Stephan: openSUSE 12.1 – installation and features
I can't go to http://suseserver.de/?p=66 ATM. Maybe the site is having some troubles now.
=Planet SUSE=
* Jörg Stephan: [Quick view:] btrfs
The title should be 'Jörg Stephan: [Quick view:] btrfs & snapper'? And, it is now llinked to http://kohei.us/2011/11/21/redesigned-autofilter-popup/ , but the original site http://suseserver.de/?p=99 seems to be having some troubles as I wrote above.
And, did you mean to introduce Kohei's article as well?
... That's all I could find for this issue.
Have a nice weekend!
Best,
