Hi Izabel, I would love to be able to contribute, but unfortunately I can't get past a blank page with a row of unlabelled icons that seemingly do nothing except highlight on mouseover. and on checking the source, I now see that they don't link anywhere. Unfortunate and frustrating to me because, as you can no doubt tell from my sig, training is my "thing". Cheers GL

link anywhere.
Oh right. wondered if it was just me. They -DO- have a text show up underneath as you mouse over, but it's grey against the dark background so hard to see, certainly on my laptop. I do like to periodically remind developers that not everyone is 25 with 20/20 vision. (They seem to love forcing people to use pale grey ten point sans fonts ..... "Dear support, I can't read the text, it's too small." "Use a bigger font on your browser then." "Dear support, your text is breaking the container, I the words are dissapearing/overlapping." ... "You're using a non-standard font size...." AAARRGGHHHH) Very elegant icons, by the way. I'll be keen to see the rest of the site. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org
Hi All I know it might be pretty hard for you to reach suseware.com. I understand it perfectly. Moreover, I did not like the home page too and yes things needs to be linked. Ok. The idea is over here http://piratepad.net/ilZIqohN83 One part is this www.suseware.com/moodle The other part is www.suseware.com/planet Since I had no home page and did not like it, that is why I did not add it at the index page, instead added it at the planet. I would like to have the homepage something in the lines of thedocumentfoundation I did not know the public would notice it so quickly, I will quicken my work as fast as possible. Also if anyone like to help me with anystuff, I had be more than happy to have you. Again, Grauham I bought the domain on a very cheap server, it mightbe down. I am again sorry for that. I have my exams coming up, so my work might be a little slow till wednesday and maybe no work at all, but guys I promise I will do that as soon as this is over and post it here for again loads of bashing and I improve upon it. Thanks a lot Manu On Thu, 2010-09-30 at 14:13 +1000, Helen wrote:

Hi All
I know it might be pretty hard for you to reach suseware.com. I understand it perfectly. Moreover, I did not like the home page too and yes things needs to be linked.
I thought it was a nice home page - simple, elegant. Yes the grey text needs to be clearer, but that's a minor point. My rant about developers and fonts is a general one , because fonts and readability has been an issue with another website I'm involved with. The modern taste for monochromes and subtle tones is a problem for older eyes!
I did not know the public would notice it so quickly, I will quicken my work as fast as possible.
Working collaboratively is great, but it can also be awkward when people assess work that isn't ready for attention. This is definitely something to bear in mind when we are looking at work-in-progress. I'm rather frantic myself at the moment - school holidays (kids at home), day job and a couple of articles on the go, but I'd be happy to assist after next week or so. best, Helen -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse-marketing+help@opensuse.org

Why don't you run it inside the project then? I think something like moodle would be a great addition to the openSUSE project. You seem to have an idea how to run and use it so why don't we start moodle.opensuse.org on an opensuse.org server instead of your own? Henne -- Henne Vogelsang, openSUSE.
