Hey Folks,
In the last monthly marketing meeting, we agreed that we want to create a weekly "Check-In" gathering. Simply put, it is a time of week when everyone can show up and just see how we are progressing with openSUSE 12.1 marketing campaign. It is *not* a formal meeting and should *not* replace continued discussions on our Mailing List. It is more of a chance when we can gather and talk live with each other and just bring up whatever we are working on and get feedback and collaborate some ideas. (Pretend this is your weekly gathering at Starbucks!)
The team agreed to do this every week on Wednesdays at 14:00 UTC in our #opensuse-marketing IRC channel.
Keep up the good work folks and let's keep the fire rolling! 12.1 is soon upon us!

Well, if someone wants to volunteer to do weekly reminders one hour before then go for it. For me, its not going to be easy as I will be in three different timezones over the next three weeks. That means I would have to remember to send out a reminder at 8 a.m. this week, at 7 a.m. next week and at 6 a.m. the week after.
Besides. This is a fixed schedule. The time and day of the week will not change. So, why not just set your alarms in your schedulers to remind you at your best convenient times?
And again, I remind you this is not formal meetings. These are check-ins as in people can come walk in at anytime during that hour and just bring up anything about the status of their current work for 12.1.

And the event should be in the calendar on news.o.o as well. Bryen, will you do it, please?
