Hi there, geekos,

It's been a while.

I used to be a part of the openSUSE marketing team some 7 or 8 years ago, mostly writing about the project for the openSUSE news, and yes, also the Commandline Tuesdays series. I was known as holden87 back then. Many years have passed, and nowadays I am a father, and professionally doing SEO in a digital agency after a longer stint in tourism marketing.

I am also learning how to code, just sent out my first Hello world a couple of days ago :)

I returned to Linux a couple of months ago, as I was finally in a state where all my tools were working on it. And yes, my only true love, the geeko :)

Aynway, if there's anyone doing any marketing-related work and you need a hand, count me in.

What I can do:
- offer a little time daily or couple of times a week
- do search engine friendly-copy (truly user friendly copy is usually friendly for search engines)
- participate in the community discussions
- help around with docs and such
- SEO-related stuff, should you need it/want it

What I want to gain from this:
- help the project thrive, as I like it
- gain knowledge in developer-relations
- gain experience in evangelizing to a technical crowd as a sort of tech-liaison
- grow the geeko

If there's a strategy you guys have built, please let me know, so I can see how to help out. If not, I can help build one as that is my forte.

As we used to say -

have a lot of fun :)
