got some feedback from the team, and the consensus atm is that it would be too intrusive and too much rework to drop mysql salt interaction, so either we make salt use PyMySQL or we provide python-MySQL-python in Factory again. maybe we could also have this package in devel:CaaSP:kubic-container and build it into the tumbleweed kubic ISO?
