As this bug was blocking the next Tumbleweed snapshot I confined myself to fixing the regular expression and kept the current behaviour. *Using* the new attribute to detect the number of to be installed packages will be available in the next version, as only this attribute can guarantee we actually detect every change (e.g. updates of metapackages where the size of the installed packages won't change).
