[opensuse-kernel] Intel DRM, 5.x Kernels and Haswell
Hello: I am having trouble with Intel DRM not working on a Haswell based machine with the 5.x series of kernel. The error that I am getting is: ,---- | GPU HANG: ecode 7:1:8edcfc79 `---- After some searching, it seems to be fixed upstream: ,---- | https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/drm/intel/-/issues/2024 `---- I just would to know when is it ETA of the patch. It looks like it can be easily be backported. BTW, I am on the latest Tumbleweed. That patch has not yet reached the kernel mainline 5.8.0-rc4. That would be the first step in the official adoption. Larry -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org

After some searching, it seems to be fixed upstream:

I must be blind, but I do not see any fix there.
I just would to know when is it ETA of the patch. It looks like it can be easily be backported.
