[opensuse-kernel] pmac_zilog patch MIA or no longer needed?
Hi I was comparing patches to the source from 2.6.22 with patches to 2.6.24 to see if the pmac_zilog+8250 coexistance patch was still around, and it is not. Looking at the kernel.org patches in kernel-source-2.6.24_rc3_git3-66.1.src.rpm from the KOTD indicates that the issue may be fixed by use of CONFIG_SERIAL_PMACZILOG and CONFIG_SERIAL_PMACZILOG_CONSOLE Does this mean that serial console on machines like the Xserve G5 *should* work in 2.6.24 if /dev/ttyPZn is used in the "console=" kernel parameter line?
