Hi, looking back I have noticed that kernel updates for the leap release were issued on average about once per month. However we haven't got any kernel update in the last 3 months. Is there a reason for that?
Well, nothing really bad was happening the last months ...
But the good thing is, we have a kernel update that will be released today/tomorrow for 15.1.
The bad this is that this new kernel breaks the wifi on my laptop. Bug #1166662
That looks like an unfortunate regression by the recent upstream fix. Luckily it's specific to only a certain iwlwifi chip (3168). A fix commit was already queued, and a test kernel is being built. Let me know the test result later.
The fix works. Thanks. Giacomo -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kernel+owner@opensuse.org
