I see no problem with either 3.7 or 3.8 in this respect, the latest overlayfs (which is in factory) applies without major problems to either one.
What does it mean "is in factory" here? I don't have such module
I just downloaded and installed the -default kernel the buildservice and overlayfs works fine.
Cool, so it sounds easy to have it for the factory kernel. I would like to rework the live cds to persistent USB images and playing with overlayfs sounds good.
Any news on 12.3 kernel?
This is still waiting on the Kernel:openSUSE-12.3 project to be created. Until then, there's no source package to submit with.
Now that the project was setup and the devel project changed - can we have overlayfs?
