why do you use the 'nobarrier' option?
well, I want it as fast as possible. you're risking loss of data and
an unmountable filesystem upon power outage or system crash.
Im aware of that ;-) The laptop is battery backed, and shuts down when battery is critical.. currently only crashes/hangs before mounting any file system.
