The reason for asking is that there is a bug that causes a kernel panic
when b44 is used on systems with more than 1 GB of RAM. Commit 960ac8917
fixes this problem in 220.127.116.11. This bug is the source of the system
freeze reported in Bugzilla #686492. Manually applying the patch allows
the system to run.
Kernel:openSUSE-11.4 is currently at 18.104.22.168. I'll submit the kernel as
an update later today.
There is still no kernel update. :-(
/proc/net/nf_conntrack is broken on 11.4.
Commit cba85b532 from 22.214.171.124 fixes the issue.
