The system is running fine, so I can ssh to it and reboot and start with the old kernel where everything is fine.

If not, I'll open a bug report. What information is needed for debugging this problem?
There was a regression in radeon driver, and it's already fixed in the latest branch (bug#1180971). Please check openSUSE-15.2 KOTD (OBS Kernel:openSUSE-15.2 repo) whether your problem still persists or not with that kernel.
