[opensuse-kernel] dvb_bt8xx, bt878 module loading issue after update to 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop

Hi, today zypper updated my kernel from 2.6.34-12-desktop to 2.6.34.7-0.7-desktop, now I have problems with the modules dvb_bt8xx and bt878. The kernel hangs while loading dvb_bt8xx: [ 2.765243] saa7134[0] Tuner type is 38 [ 32.616021] dvb_bt8xx: gave up waiting for init of module bt878. [ 122.619096] dvb_bt8xx: Unknown symbol bt878 or while loading bt878: [ 2.735017] saa7134[0] Tuner type is 38 [ 32.582282] bt878: gave up waiting for init of module bttv. [ 92.582355] bt878: Unknown symbol bttv_gpio_enable This happens always after a reboot and sometimes after a shutdown. With 2.6.34-12-desktop I've had no problems with these modules. Any ideas? [opensuse-kernel] [patch 0/5] scripts/sequence-patch.sh: Add some useful options

Hi all - There are a few things I do every time I expand the source tree with sequence-patch.sh. Or, rather, things I should do and forget to do a lot. The first I always remember to do: Copy the config I want to test with to my build directory. The second I forget more often than not: Expand the kABI references into my build directory. One of the things that bites me occasionally is when there are kABI changes that go un-noticed until the automated build checker flags them and sends me an email yelling at me for my carelessness. This patch adds three options to scripts/sequence-patch.sh to take care of these automatically. --build-dir=PATH allows you to specify the build directory you'll be using. It will create the directory if it doesn't exist. It defaults to $PATCH_DIR. --config=ARCH-FLAVOR allows you to specify the config you'll use. It will copy the config to your build directory. It is not a fatal error if the config does not exist. It will just not copy one. --kabi allows you to direct sequence-patch to expand the kABI references into your build directory. Since the references are arch/flavor specific, it depends on --config=ARCH-FLAVOR. It is not a fatal error if the kABI reference doesn't exist since this is always the case in the master branch. The --build-dir PATH is subject to shell expansion. It is expanded late enough in the script that most variables should be available. There are also three new variables available when --config is used: $CONFIG contains the --config contents. $CONFIG_ARCH contains the arch part of the config. $CONFIG_FLAVOR contains the flavor part. Hello gentlemen, if I would ask for an opinion on this guide (http://istvanv.users.sourceforge.net/v4l/xc4000.html#install) to install pctv 340e .... I have the 2.6.34.7 kernel so you have to recompile the kernel using the patch-xc4000-winfast 2.6.34.x.patch. Then copy and rename the firmware a /lib/firmware. "make rpm" after installing a new system (another openSUSE 11.3) work fine .... I have installed the new kernel but the device (pctv 340e) doesen't work. [opensuse-kernel] Problems with suspending

I'm using the latest kernel from Kernel:HEAD with Factory. It seems that being able to suspend my laptop (lenovo T61P) is more the exception than the norm. It will either start to suspend and the light (moon looking light) just blinks forever, it does suspend but never comes back up, or just fails. Yes, the file was xc4000.c. I read this article (http://istvanv.users.sourceforge.net/v4l/xc4000.html#install), I understand that I just pacth the kernel and do not have to install the DVB drivers.
