Installation of openSuSE Leap 15.4 on a Raspberry PI went without issue. However I'd been very surprised to find out there is no support for HifiBerry hats. This is even more unfortunate as the audio jack seems not working, too (BUG 1177169 indicates so but says HDMI does work since Leap 15.3). It may look like a "feature request" but to me it seems nonsensical to support Raspberry Pi with almost no driver support for hats (https://en.opensuse.org/Category:Raspberry_Pi_40-pin_connector contains just 6 entries). On the other hand I can see problems mergeing these drivers upstream as they may be limited to a special device. I've tried to merge kernel source from https://github.com/raspberrypi/linux but the audio part below sound/soc/bcm has dependencies to other parts (header, ...) requiring more work, probably obsoleted by each new kernel version. Besides compiling was hampered because of "CONFIG_MODULE_SIG=y". Is there any plan to get support for (more?) hats in OpenSuSE? Would DKMS be working and an option?
