Note that s-m-t is required by A LOT of packages. All these would implicitly depend on dracut, too. The crucial dependency here is apparently this: suse-module-tools is needed by (installed) kmod-30-1.1.x86_64 Not sure why we have that; maybe because of modrobe.d? kmod is of course required by many packages.
