Installation of kernel 5.12.9 resulted in the following links in /lib/modules/5.12.9-1-default/: build -> ../../../usr/src/linux-5.12.9-1-obj/x86_64/default source -> ../../../usr/src/linux-5.12.9-1 In each case, the target should be /usr/src/.... This bug prevents the building of external modules such as the nvidia drivers. The problem was also present for kernel 5.12.4, and probably in older kernels; however, I no longer have any of those on my system.
