The NVMe subsystem issues I/O and the hardware doesn't respond in a timely fashion. There is nothing obvious wrong in the logs. Also the aborts do not happen at once. I'm absolutely > puzzled here. Me too. One thing you could check if the drive is overheating (use sensors) before you start pulling things apart. Also check if there is a firmware update for the driver (fwupdate).
