(For installing Leap > 15.3 kernel, you might need to pass --force or whatever option to ignore the > package dependency.) @Mr. Takashi Iwai, short answer: problem ist NOT gone. Installed 5.3.18-57 kernel on top of current Leap-15.4 System. Behaviror same as before. However, there's a long answer, too. There's a stochastic element to all this. See, if you have, say, 12 sorties of a Leap-15.4 (or TW, for that) system, then 9x you shall find that 60C idle temp problem, and 3x temps move to ~45C while the fan level moves to zero. Even did experiments with Legacy Boot vs. UEFI Boot but could not find deviating behavior there, i.e., with Leap-15.4 or TW you shall find the erratic 60C idle temp issue, with Leap-15.0 ... 15.3, live is good. Thanks for reading this. Regards, M.
