1. IBM is providing these VMs for open source communities. We were surprised
about this dmesg output:
[ 1.437822] zpci: PCI is not supported because CPU facilities 69 or 71 are
not available
I read some documentation and it seems, that zpci is a special VM PCI device
for s390x.

I have tested it with my own VM and the kernel version 5.13.12-2-default. I
have got it also.

2. "hwinfo" is saying:
setup: Linux is running as a z/VM guest operating system in 64-bit mode

3. How do I receive this information inside of the VM, if the list command for
PCI devices does not work?

4. We can not say anything about this configuration because it is an IBM
deployment. They are using openstack. I can only reference Bruce from IBM with
this statement:
"Ok, I have just registered you. You should receive a welcome email with a
temporary password. You have a quota of 7 VMs, 240000 MB and a openstack
flavor to choose which is 32 GB of mem, 100 GB Disk and 4 vCPUs for each
server."
The rest (under the hood) is in IBM hands.
