Hello, I have a laptop with an intel GPU and a nvidia GPU and therefore optimus; to manage all this I use bumblebee from X11:bumblebee which is the following packages - VirtualGL - VirtualGL-devel - bbswitch - bbswitch-kmp-default - bumblebee - dkms - nvidia-bumblebee - nvidia-bumblebee-32bit - primus So far the following packages were installed and all of them worked correctly: - bbswitch-kmp-default 0.8_k5.3.18_lp152.69-lp152.42.1 (0.8_k5.3.18_lp152.72-lp152.44.1) - kernel-default 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) - kernel-default-devel 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) - kernel-devel 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) - kernel-preempt-devel 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) - kernel-syms 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) Today I do a zypper update and surprise, the package kernel-preempt (5.3.18-lp152.72.1) is selected for installation in addition to the upgrade of the packages previously mentioned. After investigation it turns out that kernel-syms 5.3.18-lp152.72.1 requires: - kernel-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.72 - kernel-default-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.72 - kernel-preempt-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.72 kernel-preempt-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.72 requires kernel-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.72 and kernel-preempt = 5.3.18-lp152.72 while kernel-preempt-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.69.1 requires only kernel-devel = 5.3.18-lp152.69 I think that there must be a problem of dependencies somewhere in these packages because I don't understand the interest to install kernel-preempt while kernel-default gives me satisfaction and I would not have the use of kernel-preempt. Only one kernel should do the trick ! Maybe it's a bug linked to the evolution of the kernel distribution under leap 15.3 (jump project) ? thank you for your help cheers
