Two reasons:

1) Because both kernels are installed on the system. Don't ask me why. I don't
know.

2) When starting "yast sw_single" to select the packages to install, I found
that those two packages were selected for install automatically, so I installed
them.

My guess is that the drive module has to be rebuilt for the newer kernel if the
API changed. The kernel message seems to indicate that.
