I have attempted both, neither solve the issue. Display works fine in this configuration under Windows. Also, when I attach the screen on boot I end up in a frozen state, where I cannot even drop back to a tty. The secondary screen remains blank, the primary screen (which is having / causing the issues) enters powersave due to no signal.
