So, did a Leap-15.4 on ext4 install on SSD, too. Result is, the 60���C idle temp issue is also present on ext4, it seems to be at least as prevalent as in the btrfs case, i. e., I could not find one case in 5 reboots, where temperatures would cease to 45���C and the fan would move to level 0. To conclude investigations on that ThinkPad W530 being used so far: the Leap-15.4 ext4 Live System doesn't have it, but a Leap-15.4 on SSD - ext4 as well as btrfs - does have the 60���C idle temp issue, no matter what.
