TW kernel packages have to be built separately for Leap because kernel contains userspace binaries that require the new libc. So long as the TW packages work on TW we should be fine for now. In the future we might get to a point that we need to rebuild the kernel for Leap just to fix the symlinks because it would be compatible otherwise.
