Hi, Starting with Kernel:stable/kernel-source revision 1357 and commit https://github.com/openSUSE/kernel-source/commit/074fdcff64c78c1d16defd28b695f854b2b953d5 setting kernel CONFIG_SND_CTL_VALIDATION=y makes alsamixer to crash and Dmic non functional with SOF audio. Dmesg says : skl_hda_dsp_generic: control 2:0:0:Dmic0 Capture Switch:0: value out of range 65536 (0/1) at count 0 either using alsa sof-hda-dsp ucm/ucm2 or not. Will gladly provide further debug or testing
