The following is the relevant dracut output: dracut-install: Failed to find module 'ide_pci_generic' dracut: FAILED: /usr/lib/dracut/dracut-install -D /var/tmp/dracut.RhiUGT/initramfs -N ^i2o_scsi$ --kerneldir /lib/modules/6.1.8-1-default/ -m pata_jmicron ata_piix ata_generic ide_pci_generic fan dracut: installkernel failed in module suse-initrd warning: %post(kernel-default-6.1.8-1.1.x86_64) scriptlet failed, exit status 1 I've seen reports on the missing ide_pci_generic for many years, but that never seems to have been a problem. The modules pata_jmicron and ata_generic are also not present on my system. After this error message, /boot/initrd exists, and point to /boot/initrd-6.1.8-1.1.x86_64rd which does not exist, so the system is unbootable.
