It seems that kdump can't work in such a case in anyway because the kdump kernel itself isn't reliable. Although we should be able to set up the kdump kernel with a proper option (noapic or whatever), but it's cumbersome. Just to be sure: does the problem persists with the latest 5.16.x kernel?
