Comment # 4 on bug 1204786 from
As I already said the issue is not systematic, so I was able to boot the system
with the Ethernet controller enabled.

In this case I no more see Network Mnagaer complaining about igc :

> sudo journalctl -b  | grep -i igc
>oct. 27 12:48:59 localhost kernel: igc 0000:0b:00.0: enabling device (0000 -> 0002)
>oct. 27 12:48:59 localhost kernel: igc 0000:0b:00.0: PTM enabled, 4ns granularity
>oct. 27 12:48:59 localhost kernel: igc 0000:0b:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): PHC added
>oct. 27 12:48:59 localhost kernel: igc 0000:0b:00.0: 4.000 Gb/s available PCIe bandwidth (5.0 GT/s PCIe x1 link)
>oct. 27 12:48:59 localhost kernel: igc 0000:0b:00.0 eth0: MAC: 90:2e:16:f3:4f:ea

I will attach a supportconfig for the OK case where the system boots without
any problem
