I meant 802.11ax mode.

AP uses high rate if the environment is clean and near distance. A good
distance may be 50cm.

This hardware is capable to receive VHT 1024 QAM and report VHT MCS 10, but
specification doesn't define this. So, another experiment is that you can turn
off 802.11ax support entirely of the AP. 
Note: this experiment must use old driver.

To be clear, I would like to know "network stops" means.
Does it still work, when you see the warning of kernel log? 
Or, network is stuck?
