This was actually asked with the doubt that putting it as "fixed" while it will
not appear for some week in the repo may be origin of a lot of duplicates.
Rational for my remark is that the default filter for the users are set to show
only open bugs, while AFAIK the resolved ones do not appear.

appreciated.
