I've also researched after similar upstream bugreports: There is an upstream
bugfix (s. https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=199549 ) maybe applied
to vanilla kernel 4.17.
Could you please check if this bugfix is included in the Leap 15.2 distribution
kernel ?
I will try your patched kernel in the next week, because i need to activate the
new Leap 15.2 again and i need physical access to the system because of the
network instability and the missing IPMI remote access. Now i've reverted to
the Leap 15.1. 
Then i can also provide the hwinfo from the Leap 15.2 system, or is it enough
to get it from Leap 15.1.
