Also give the dmesg output, too. The hwinfo and dmesg outputs are required to figure out exactly which device is on your machine and what are probed, also whether any relevant info / error is seen from the kernel. To deal with a hardware issue like this, you always need to know the detailed hardware information as much as possible before going further.
