Console output when using the 7.1.1 recovery kernel
I just got a Tumbleweed snapshot that includes Kernel 5.7.1-1. After installing
this update (using `zypper dup`) and rebooting, my system (Lenovo ThinkPad X1
Yoga gen 4) did not progress past the boot splash screen.
When using grub to select the 5.7.1-1 recovery kernel, I got a bunch of console
spew and the cursor became visible and could be moved, but the system was
otherwise frozen and the boot process did not progress, as before.
reverting to Kernel 5.6.14 allowed the system to boot normally. Definitely
seems like a regression in the 5.7.1-1 kernel.
