Could I know more information to clarify this issue? 

1. AP model name

2. Do you know the "real" rate in the circumstance? 
   We can use another wifi card running in monitor mode to capture packets, or
   check the rate before the warning by:
   $ sudo iw wlan0 station dump

   Which mode does it connect? VHT, HE or ....

3. Does it work if you try another brand AP?
