No, I have not, but ?? what ".ics" file. I don't see any. I did originally export my old calendar many years ago to an ics file and imported it here.... And the url would be to my google calendar, https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ ??? tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

tks,
If you open Google Calendar, select the calendar on the left, Calendar Settings, Calendar Address, ICAL provides the link to the .ics file. The Qt4 version of akonadi/kdepim can use this link to sync calendars from Google; I haven't been able so far to make the Qt5 version work with it. -- Regards, Peter -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Well, that lets me download events in an ics file which I can import but it doesn't link korganizer to google calendar :(. So I still haven't achieved adding google calendar. tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Won't this still link to a *static* file rather than the *dynamic* google calendar? And appointment additions to korganizer would not appear on google calendar? -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

No, not that I recall. But using the search term "google" in systemsettings5 (ie: KDE Control Center, Configure Desktop), "Online Accounts" menu is left active, but provides no control. Trying to configure or create an account, "+", provides no input/response/action. Maybe related. fwiw, I have four other local tw machines which are also unable to do anything with the "Online Accounts" item, but do not have the korganizer problem to add a google account. And the subject machine previously had a google calendar active and working. tks, -- (paka)Patrick Shanahan Plainfield, Indiana, USA @ptilopteri http://en.opensuse.org openSUSE Community Member facebook/ptilopteri http://wahoo.no-ip.org Photo Album: http://wahoo.no-ip.org/gallery2 Registered Linux User #207535 @ http://linuxcounter.net -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse-kde+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse-kde+owner@opensuse.org

Hm, when You go akonadiconsole, are You able to add/view Google resources on the Agents tab?

I use Google calendars on Leap as well as TW machine and it works.

If it doesn't work, go to KDE Bugzilla. Author of responsible library is usually answering quickly. -- Vojtěch Zeisek Komunita openSUSE GNU/Linuxu Community of the openSUSE GNU/Linux https://www.opensuse.org/ https://trapa.cz/

Yes, I had forgotten about this app. Used it previously. It contains too many duplicate "Google Calendars and Tasks (not configured)". I removed all but one and then tried configuring it. Still no go. Removed all google calendar agents and began anew. Still no luck.

After a recent tw update, I stopped akonadi and removed all references to google calendars, closed korganizer daemon and calendar.
